Wahey! I’m updating! Look at me with my bad self!
Ok then, at this present time my bloody head hurts, and i am not taking paracetamol as it is not that kind of headache. Yes, my head was damaged last night at Biffy of the Clyro. I shall post the evenings events in the best way I can, and i really wish that The Clar was there, AND NO FRANKIE, as it would have been complete Biffy evening.
let me start.
Me and Reenie were meant to meet at about 6 however i was late and got very stressed as i thought i had lost my fake ID, and then when i was being given some (rarely happens) money off el Parents my Dad decides to count out £10 in all the change he has ever complied in his wallet over the last decade, and people wonder why I do it to the people in shops. SO anyway, i was late which makes a change as it is normally Reenie these days, with her late 93 ways (apparently).
Got to the platform (yes we haven't actually got to the Astoria yet) and get onto train, and at the moment me and Reenie always have a drink on the tube (usually pre-Claire) and we time how much we drink by stops on the tube e.g. 'I will have some more at Clapham south, Yes. DEE DEE' so anyway, Yes we are quite sad. So anyway on our train journey we consumed a bottle of lambrini and the last of the ol'famous grouse (which shall be missed alas)with some coke. Ok, anyway skip to standing outside the Astoria looking for Mames' pig brother Rory to sell Claire’s ticket to, and he text Reenie saying 'oh, we are already in' so she has to go and sell her ticket to a tout for £5, retard Rory. Anyway, we go in and as we are walking up the stairs we spy Rory., Me and Reenie do a spastic run for the other stairs as we don't want to see him, as he is an Idiot of doom. Yes.
Anyway, we walk up the empty stars and go through some double doors and the place is PACKED, the most packed I have ever seen it, and it really is only 7pm.
We then got to the merchandise stool and Reenie gets a very nice zip-up hoodie, the best i have seen so far, and Reenie spots Will with the two large Biffy fans who I think are called KJ and Heidi, i don't really like them as they really do throw themselves over the twins like a bad rash. Anyway we soon loose sight of them and we see everyone else has arrived. First Mames, i think and there is a whole pointing thing of acknowledgment between him and Reenie, how odd. Then all I can really remember recognising is Joe and he was eating a sandwich and it looked like egg (ugh), why I remember such things is very odd. So anyway, i went for a wee leaving Reenie with them all at the bar.
When i got back i recognised Tim, who I have only ever seen once at our second home The Peel, he is in a Band on drums, with Joe.yes. Dee Dee liked him, a lot I think, and he was a lot taller than i recalled, anyway he was polite and friendly enough.
i was then ushered rudely by mames into leading the way into the crowd for Hell Is for Heroes (the very good support). They were good, however the only drawback was Mames (heavier than me I am sure) and whoever’s genius idea it was to lift him up, CROWD SURFED INTO THE BACK OF MY HEAD. It really did wind me, and i am sure i had a moment of concussion. After that my head really was like OW, headache, and it hasn’t gone away since. Also i remember in the middle of HIFR that Reenie saw Frankie at the edge of the pit and they embraced, to which i ran right across the pit next to Joe, as he hates Frankie too.
Anyway, after my brief moment of concussion I was ok and ready to go on for Biffy.
Biffy really did go out this time at the intro, with banners to each side of the stage and a projection of their logo, i was impressed and Reenie commented that they probably have the money for all of that now, as they are getting recognised.
The set list was good but could have been much better, there really was like minimal songs from my favourite album Vertigo of Bliss, however they managed to play my two favourite songs (which are both on that Album). Toys and jaggy snake were my favourite dancing around and memory songs of the night. For Toys (one of my favourite songs) i remember everyone making room for a pit and before everyone jumped in Mames, Joe, Aran and The twins danced in a circle around it, and it really did look so cool. For Jaggy snake me and Reenie managed a bit of the old spinning in a circle, but we bashed heads, which didn't help to add to my headache, and every time we do spin everyone waits for us to finish before they jump back into the pit, which is always cool.
Biffy ended and we waited outside for everyone and while going home we really couldn’t shale Frankie off, i got so angry at one point as i lagged behind a bit and Frankie caught up with everyone, to which they all ran off leaving me to walk next to her. Ugh, i was very sour at that point. On the way home the two funniest moments were when firstly, Mames made all of us run for the train at top speed for Joe, and me being fat i am a slow runner, and so it was me and Will lagging behind laughing at how unfit we were and how he should stop smoking and i should stop eating. The final funny bit of the night was when everyone was whispering about something, and i was sitting down so i didn't hear and suddenly the twins yelled a song about something along the lines of Mames looking like a thunderbird, i really laughed so hard at that! We got to Wimbledon and bid our goodbyes, knowing we will probably see them at dustins soon, and then me and Reenie got back to mine and talked about the night’s events. Yes, Biffy was a good night out.
